Types :
Two most common forms of CNC lathe machines are :
- CNC milling machine: It is an electrically powered tool, used to abolish material, generally metal at a controlled rate to achieve a desired shape or finish. According to the orientation of the spindle, these machines are further classified as either vertical or horizontal.
- Horizontal milling machine: IAvailable in universal as well as plain forms, they are equipped with tables fixed at right angles to the knee. The table can be directed at a horizontal plane which allows it to be swiveled to different angles for milling helical grooves.
- Vertical milling machine: Comprised with multi axis ability, the vertical axis of this milling machine can tilt and swivel to enable the machining of closed angles and contoured surfaces. This is highly versatile and can machine horizontal surfaces, vertical surfaces, angular surfaces, shoulders, grooves, fillets, key ways, T-slots, dovetails and precision holes.
- CNC molding machine: 2.The molding machines are used to fabricate casted parts efficiently ranging from small to medium sized castings. By using different methods of casting, molding machines are able to provide the closest tolerance parts.
